Beyond Books is a reading club for kids ages 4 - 9. We meet once a week online to read and discuss stories, and articles and have fun. Children learn to appreciate books by reading with others, getting feedback from their peers, and exploring their town while they explore new words and stories. Each week we meet for story time, and then we have a new theme each month.
It takes time, patience, and most importantly, consistency to become fluent in English; it is not something that can be accomplished overnight. The secret to passing the English Exam is maintaining your reading habits and being familiar with a variety of extracts.
The majority of parents cite it as a difficult task to get their kids interested in reading. Perhaps your child finds some books too challenging to understand, or they just find television to be more engaging.
With the Reading Club, we aim to accomplish the following objectives :
twice a week supervised reading
a thorough reading of literature from various genres
Ways to spot important Vocabulary from unread texts
making a thorough 11+ bank of vocabulary
increased capacity for critical thought and creative writing

Our goal is to instill a lifelong love of reading in our members by providing an environment where they can feel comfortable sharing, participating, and listening.
